This idea was inspired by many TikToks & my own curiosity while grocery shopping. I love quick lunches that come together easily in the air fryer, and this ciabatta is perfect for busy weekdays.

If you don't have an air fryer, you can throw this in the oven on low broil.

Special Equipment

Air Fryer

2

The mini ciabatta loaves from Trader Joe's are perfect for this. You can use whatever bread you have on hand.

You can use brie, cheddar, or any melting cheese. Trader Joe's has sliced raclette which is perfect for this recipe.
as needed
flakey salt
as needed
pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the air fryer to 400 F. If using an oven, preheat to low broil.

Step 2

Spread each slice of ciabatta with butter. Air fry or broil for 2-3 minutes, until lightly toasted.

Step 3

Spread each toasted slice with 1 tablespoon of the fig preserves.

Step 4

Cut the apple into thin slices. Arrange over the fig preserves.

Step 5

Top the apples with the sliced raclette. Dollop the remaining fig preserves over the raclette.

Step 6

Air fry or broil for 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and browned.

Step 7

Top with flakey salt and pepper, if desired. Enjoy!
