Directions

Pizza Sauce
Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a pan and sautee the onions. Once they have browned add in the green chilies, garlic cloves and crushed tomatoes. Sautee for ten minutes and add in the salt, ground spices and dried fenugreek leaves. Stir well to combine and add a tablespoon of water to the mixture. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool down completely. Now blend the mixture to a pizza sauce like consistency.

Pizza
Step 1

Bring the pizza dough to room temperature (this takes a couple hours)

Step 2

Pre-heat the oven to 450 F

Step 3

Lightly flour your work surface and stretch the pizza dough to fit a rectangular baking sheet. You don't have to be precise with the shape, just make sure that the dough is evenly stretched.

Step 4

Transfer the dough to a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes

Step 5

Remove the bare crust from the oven and generously spread the sauce all over

Step 6

Increase the oven temperature to 500 F

Step 7

As the oven heats up, top the sauced crust with all the toppings. Bake for another 10 minutes. Done!
