Conchas are a type of Pan Dulce or Sweet Bread. It's pillowy soft, light and the perfect amount of sweetness. I use a Brioche style dough for this Sweet Bread. "Concha" means Shell in Spanish which describes the Shell Cookie Pattern that lays on top of the bread. There's many flavors & colors that Conchas come in so it's great to be creative with these! Conchas are delicious as a breakfast pastry or a sweet ending to a meal. They're great served with Coffee or tea.
