Finely diced jalapeños are handy for dressings, salads, salsas, and sauces. Learn a simple method to get a really nice fine dice, and you'll never go back!

Directions

Step 1

Lay the jalapeño down. Slice one side of the jalapeño, starting beside the stem and ending at the tip. With this piece, slice thin strips, about 3-4 1/8" thick pieces.

Step 2

Turn these pieces 90 degrees, then slice and cut thinly, using your knuckle to guide the knife to the end of the strips. Move your fingers and knuckles back as you cut.

Step 3

Repeat for the remaining 3 sides of the jalapeño, and discard the core, seeds, and stem.
