Rostbrätl - a specialty dish from Thüringen - is a BBQ dish using pork neck and is paired with salad and served with a slice of dark rye bread and beer.

Ingredients

pork neck
1-2 slices per person

tablespoons
mustard
Mild German mustard
salt
To taste
black pepper
To taste
beer
Beer to marinate and drink!

Directions

Step 1

Spread the mustard thickly over each slice of the pork.

Step 2

Put meat in a bowl and cover with your preferred beer.

Step 3

Let it marinate for a minimum of 3 hours or overnight.

Step 4

BBQ the pork on a medium-hot BBQ until cooked through.

Step 5

Serve with potato or cucumber salad, some bread and a cold beer.
