This Heavy Sugar Syrup is the key ingredient to all of my fresh berry sauces. It's an incredibly versatile thing to have in your fridge, as you can use it to sweeten iced tea, lemonade, or any drink of choice, as well as use it in a cocktail.
Here it's mixed with fresh berry purees that results in lush berry sauces to be used in the many desserts in this collection. It takes just a few minutes to make, is two ingredients (sugar and water) and can be refrigerated for up to a month in an airtight container.
