This dish brings nuts, garlic, potatoes and olive oil together in a way that is very unique and delicious. Almonds meal adds a different texture to this vegan / vegetarian yet decadent bite.
The original version will use breadcrumbs or stale bread as well, however, we keep this out to make it gluten free.
Traditionally fresh garlic is utilized in these recipes but we prefer cooked garlic to tame the pungent flavors at your holiday table. Feel free to augment the garlic with additional fresh garlic.
